Svetlana Tartakovska (Berditchev, 1979) already had a lot in store when she came to the Netherlands fifteen years ago and further developed her talent at the Klassieke Academie voor Beeldende Kunst in Groningen and at the Florence Acadamie of Art in Florence. After that she participated in the contest ‘Figurativas 2013’ in Barcelona, where her art could be seen in the Musea Europeu d’Art Modern. She won the AVRO tv-program ‘Sterren op het doek’ with her portrait of mediatycoon Joop van den Ende. Thereafter she had a successful show in the Amsterdam Americain Hotel, and she exposed on the presigeus art fair PAN. Besides impressive portraits she also paints monumental scenes from the Russian history and literature. In her latest work the colors white and gray have a central role.
